As I have stated before, I’m a Tottenham Hotspur fan. I have supported them since 2010 when I first got into soccer. This is probably a few weeks too late, but I had to do this.
Setting: November 2, 2014. Tottenham are play against Aston Villa, who have been poor recently. However, just like Spurs, we concede an early when Andreas Weimann got free in the box and slid in for their goal. It seems Spurs aren’t going to be lucky this time around. Aston Villa pours on the pressure for the first half with Tottenham being extremely terrible.
Second half begins, and it’s a little more of the same. Suddenly, controversy happens as Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke gets into a scuffle with Ryan Mason and gets sent off with a straight red card. Down to ten men, Tottenham piles on the pressure and eventually equalizes from a corner, scored by Nacer Chadli in the 84th minute. It seems this match was destined to be a draw. Tottenham earns a free kick just a few yards outside the box in the 90th minute. Then, a 21-year old English striker, with a hint of confidence, steps up to take the free kick with the chance to win the game for Spurs.
Harry Kane with the game-winning goal!!! In the 90th minute!!! Wow!!! What a strike!!!
It may have been a poor game, but 3 points is 3 points. COYS
